Also of note imo is #1 on the list - so far my favorite game of the PS2 era.

 

Sweet, at least VF is getting more recognition here in N.A., little by little...

I'm not sure that Grim Fandango is "underrated", though, it has been receiving great reviews all along.

System Shock 1 & 2, Rez, and... mmm... Herzog Zwei. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif Gotta love dropping tanks behind enemy base, picking them up and setting them down again to annoy your opponent.

 

Well I think they are also referred "underrated" to popularity. Like VF4E got awesome reviews from everyone, but they were calling it underrated because it doesn't have the popularity that the inferior Tekken and SC have.

I wouldent call SC inferior, just a differant target audiance and play style. TEkken yeah, SC no...

I agree on the popularity scale. Not to many people have played Grim that i know of. Im the only person i know thats played it. But man was it HARD!

 

would be nice if any of the magazine or internet game reviewers actually visited vfdc on a regular basis. Or if they do, they should post and say who they are. That would definetly spread word around since they might be able to cover something like evolution tournament or something like that. But oh well.

 

There was actually a lot of truth to that. I also totally agree with Suikoden2, its one of my favorite RPG's of all time. /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
