Getting Zenkuhon K to bounce during a combo?

    Hi guys, I've been trying to use zenkuhon /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif within (namely, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif )combos but I'm having some problems in consistantly getting the opponent to bounce, can anyone give some pointers? I've noticed that I can pull it off more often if I delay the zenkuhon and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, is that the key to getting the bounce?

    which 9K+G combo are you trying and on what character as the bounce won't work on certain characters i.e. Try the 9K+G > PP > 236P+K K > PK bounce combo on Eileen since she's the lightest and easiest character to get it on. Then move up in weights because the timing on combos becomes mores strict as you go up.

    You can also set the CPU to CH and all you 236P+K K will give you a bounce

    Thanks for the reply Tricky, I had the opportunity to play training mode at a friend's house and was trying to pull it off on Kage with only occasional success. It's the combo you described above, although I was intending to screw around with the followups after the bounce. Do you generally just input the move at the fastest timing, or is there actually some delay required for it to work constantly?

    It has to be the fastest timing or else the zenk kick hits but they don't bounce, they'll follow your foot to the ground and just lay there, I watch that happen to me on occasion and cry cuz it sometimes ends up losing the round i.e. if I'm use the zenk K > 6K to ring someone out. I use the Zenk K > PK if I'm trying to get just pure dmg.

    You can also use Zenk K to bounce after a side crumple.

    Ex: CH OM K [crumple] > 236P+K,K > P,3P,K
