hi, i know this move works as a sucessful evade at disadvantage, but it seems very tight. i have been interuptted on alot of occasions so i figured is must have something to do with by how much i'm at recovery, no?

i was wondering at what disadvantage max can you use the stumble trip as a sucessful evade? thx in advance....... mabye i'll come back to this thread if i have any more questions, heh.

well i don't know if this will be useful, but i've found three best uses for:
    1. use it in a combo: [2]/[8] [P]+[K], [2]/[8] [K]+[G]
    2. use when your opponent hits the wall and goes into a spin
    3. use it to discourage side rolls, or side tech roles after a big float.

as far as for a straightfoward evade, you won't get the evasion sound and camera change, but maybe when the opponent is at a large disadvantage, you can avoi some linear attacks.

So far I've only been able to avoid and punish elbows (towards opponent's back) after one of my uncounterable moves get blocked. Anything other than elbow/mid punch usually interrupts it (mid kick) or recovers too quickly ([P]/[2][P]). The move seems to work better after you are initially hit with [P] or [2][P] to help deal with the instant nikatu situation caused by those 2 moves.

hmm, seems a little too specific to be useful enough after the blocked moves... but i like the P and low P bit, thanks alot for that info, i'll run some tests tonight.

i'm really having trouble with coping under pressure without guessing inashis left right and center.

[2]/[8][P]+[K] is very strange. The only elbows it beats are the short range ones (Kage, Lau, Sarah), and even then the timing is very strict. If you manage to major counter with it, his [4][P]+[K] will go straight through their [P] but doesn't always beat [2][P] or a longer range move.

I don't really have much defensive use for [2]/[8][P]+[K] because the evasive property isn't that great. I mainly use it just to catch someone off guard. The best thing about it is the fact that it's a low kick that always gives advantage no matter what type of hit it is. This gives you the option to follow up with [3][P], [4][6][P], throws, [4][3][P]+[K], etc.
