Ground throw.

What is the best situation for a ground throw?
I've seen many Gohs using a lot of ground throws. Almost never seen jeff using that.


Is there any good use for a 2P+G ground throw?

Considering situation when we re playing against someone, who doesn't throw escape.
Any use for ground throws then?

 

His ground throw takes forever to execute -- I would rather go for a large pounce in the time it takes for that thing to come out.

I almost never use it unless I've punished the opponent's tech so many times with quality oki that they fear rising and just stay grounded; if you can yomi this, 2P+G immediately following knock down works but it is (obviously) risky. Not worth it in my opinion; however, if you're a Jeff player you probably like the high risk/high reward, so give it a shot. :s

 

If your back is to the edge of the ring or wall, crumple /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif will throw them in that direction. If they wise up, just use his really powerful combos or do the Brisal-mix up /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif (combos are better damage wise, but /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif can equal ring out).
