Has anyone heard of Virtua Fighter: Cyber generation?

I don't know if i'm talking ancient history here but...
I read a small preview on Virtua Fighter:Cyber generation and was horrified at what they wanted to do.

They were planning on making this game an RPG where you play some dumb digimon looking kid in the future fighting against J6, the only thing that will be left of the original game, besides J6, will be some moves you character can acquire through "Virtua souls".

Who else thinks this is pure bullshit that should never happen?

P.S.: if you want to read this yourself go here Game review

Well, it kinda makes sense when you see the average age of VF players compared to ones who play other fighting games. Due to its complicated system, lack of flashness or whatever, VF appeals to somewhat older people than young generation. It's totally up to you regarding what games you play. You can always play VF 4 Evo or coming FT instead of Cyber generation and stop bashing about it.

Dam it the game looks cool /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif. I have sold my soul, I want that game. A bit to futuristic for me though and flashy. But hey you can't have your cake and eat it too.

I hope people notice that in the video clip they showed off Kage's aerial kicks from VF4FT. Just want to point that out.
