Help with Streambox

    hey guys, i have been trying to record the matches from sega.am.jp with streambox. i can add the links and etc, however, the movie that i saved only have sounds, but no graphics. while i click on the actual links on sega, i can play them with graphics on the windows media player. can someone give me some ideas? thanks guys! /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif

    The very first post of the am.sega media thread explains how to use streambox correctly in order to dl the am.sega movies. I'm guessing you're not selecting the MMS checkbox. Here's a paste from the first thread:

    Once you have it, to download one of the AM2 streaming .asx files, just right click and copy the shortcut, click the + button in streambox VCR, then go to the connection tab and make sure your connection reads as 256K DSL. Also check the box that says use http:// protocol for MMS streams. Leave the other box unchecked and click OK.

    You'll now download the clip. You may want to change your default download folder so it isn't buried 10 levels deep.

    The reason for the DSL/MMS streams settings is that you'll download only sound or your DL will die if you don't. That's a problem that seems pretty much specific only to AM2 - other pages you can just click the + button, then click OK.
