Love this game...the second one was awesome, but this one just breaks through the roof, past the atmosphere, and into the dark recesses of the universe.

    Fan-bloody-tastic.

So much so, that I felt this deserved a thread to be made.

Yeah its an enjoyable game and the graphcs are real neat and all...just haven't gotten into it as much as I did Hitman 2.

I bought Hitman 3 the day it was released and played it all afternoon...then I haven't really gone back to it since. I will do mind as I really loved 2 it's juts that I've far too many other things to play through. Plus I was always busy with uni work.

The intro was good though, one of those bizarre wtf? moments. That club was well funny too, the one with the Meat King is it? Had fun with that mission, though some of stuff going on was well dodgy!

I have to say my fav mission in the Hitman series was the second in 2. The Don hit. After I'd played the game to death I went in with a spas 12 and took everyone down. Oh ... and with the M60 too! That was sweet, almost like a bloody gatling gun from res evil.

The feel of the third game is somewhat different from that of the second, in the sense that Contracts is much more sterile, emotionless and 'noir'-esque than its more 'warm' (well, about as 'warm' as you can get for a Hitman game /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif ) predecessor that actually had much more of an emotional core with the whole Father Vittorio stuff. Also, the cutscenes of the third movie are based on flash-backs and a slowly unravelling present premise that requires each level to be played to learn more about what's gonig on. The second game was much simpler and linear than this.

Just a few thoughs - hope you get a chance to get into it soon! It's a very rewarding experience!

I'll be sure to post back once I've played the game through...it's just a case of me getting the time to sit down and play it!
