So is HK actually connected to VF.net? Because a lot of those cards sport items and such!

Looking forward to playing these guys when I land there.

 

I am pretty sure there is no VF.net connection. Either they bring their cards to Japan or have someone do it for them. Some of them actually have their ranks promoted above 10th-dan while in Japan.
