1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Hmm, anyone go to SVGL or other SF Bay Area arcades lately?

Just wondering if we might be as fortunate as the Chicago people and somehow come across an Evo machine.

Dunno... I'm gonna try and drop by SVGL tonite to see if the VF4 machine is truly gone. Is the Initial D machine still there? A friend (ok me) wants to try it out.

I went to SVGL last Saturday and I was shocked. They did get rid of the VF machine. I'm not sure if it's temporary or permanent but I hope they are going to upgrade to the Evo machine. Everyone knows that there joystick is not as great as the PS2 VF sticks but at least it was a great place to meet new players like Chanchai and the others. Well we're just going to have to wait and see.

I put up a post like this in the general section maybe a week or 2 ago about this; yes, it seems they got rid of the VF4 machine; whether we get EVO now remains a mystery. Sucks how they got rid of it just when they were starting to offer the game at 1 token/credit.

it looks like they replaced vf4 with soul calibur 2 but it's in a tekken 4 cabinet, so when they took out tekken4 they decided to place it in vf4's cabinet, but they still have the vf4 board. no info on whether or not evo is going to be there..... yet

Hmm, thanks for dropping by Jason. Hopefully we'll have one available to us soon, somewhere in the Bay Area.

    Hi, all! remember me?
I wish if we had VF4 at pier 39...
(USF has Tekken4 in the campus but no VF4)
anyway, I was just thinking same thing.
we need to have a good arcade in SF.

The arcade reopened at Pier 39 recently - has anyone been there and checked it out? They did have a VF3, though I don't have much hope for VF4 or Evo... (though if they get an arcade machine I'd go hardcore VF again..hehe)

I suppose if no one else has, I'll visit in the next few days as it's not too far for me.
