How many Australian players are out there?

Just something i wanted to find out.
If you play virtua fighter and you're an aussie, reply and say the general region where you're from. I just wanna find out exactly how many of us there are out there /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

 

Very nice to see players in AUS, Sounds like a good group of players. Ahem as for the gold coast, Please Allow me to lay down our strong players:

Norman - Sarah, Jacky, Brad
Tom - Jacky, Lion, Akira-ish

As valestyle said, there aren't really too many strong players that we now of in the coast, we're trying to get others to turn to virtua fighter but as of yet our attempts have met with dismal failure. Damn that tekken. /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Damn Tekken??? there's nothing wrong with Tekken anyhow, only started serious play/training about 3 weeks back.. maybe not too much of a challenge.... yet, but yeah still learning. Seems like there's hardly any scene here in AUS though. With a lack of arcade machines here n Brisbane, it means that the only players out there are PS2 players, and it's hard to find them if they don't come out of the woodwork and post online.

Anyhow just saying hi.... might see you around... maybe

 

I'm an Aussie player along with Argo. I play mainly Lei and am tempted to take up someone else (as I feel sometimes Lei doesn't really allow for proper VF4 play, he seems to sometimes avoid a lot of the basics of the game.)

Anyway, just saying Hi.

I was in brisbane for the new year and I only saw Namco arcade machines. I was in that arcade that wanted the little coins...i think the arcade was replay or something. Anyway I got my ass kicked in Tekken Tag cause of those damn joysticks...DAMN JOYSTICKS.

I'm still down here in Melbourne and still practice now and then but as far as i can tell nobody else plays down here.

Still if anyone is ever in the area gimme a buzz. Due to the lack of arcade machines around here for many fighting games, we generally play at an internet cafe, which is a nice and cheap venue for gatherings.

I might be able to round up some of the local players (all 3 of em /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif) if anyone comes down.

ps. there was a thread a while ago with a guy called rej looking for players in Melbourne (which i missed until recently), if you're still around gimme a message already

I'm from Hobart... we're so backward we haven't even got VF3tb in the arcades yet. Thank god for my PS2! (not that I could afford the arcade anyway). Anyway, I wouldn't call myself good or anything but I am the best I know, (ok I don't know anyone who plays at all...). I play Aoi, Wolf and Goh. You never know, someday I might get to play against someone who knows what they are doing.. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

There used to be a thriving Tekken 3 scene here, though never a Tekken 4 one. Now it's KOF KOF KOF.
