    i used the search system but couldn't find anything.

    i was wondering how to do the akira's [G][K] and release [G] in one frame.

    what does one frame mean?

    i tried many times but couldn't do it sucesfully.

    One frame means 1 frame of a second. /versus/images/icons/shocked.gif

    To do the knee, you press both buttons, BUT let go of the guard as soon as you press it. You have to gently flick the guard button when you do it or it wont come out. You'll either get the a regular kick or cancelled kick. /versus/images/icons/crazy.gif

    Takes some practice to do. And some serious training to do consistently and during battle. I never perfected it myself. Good luck. Its' the best "knee" attack in the game. Fastest recovery for a floating knee. /versus/images/icons/blush.gif
    The properties have been changed in EVO I believe.

    1frame=1/60th of a second.

    Just a lil add on to my previous post.
    VF4 is 60 frames per second so 1 frame is 1/60th of a second.
    A game that runs at 30fps however would mean that 1 frame would equel 1/30th or 2/60th of a second.

    Press K+G together and search for "how do i do akira's knee" within 1 frame.

    Shag's reply makes the 12th time this question has been correctly answered! ... congratulations dude. Of course there are probably a few I missed, and there were times this was asked on RGVA, and then there are other gaming boards.... but anyway.

    I haven't heard yet of an effective way executing the knee with the ps2 pad, unless you always release your grip from the right handle, slam the K and G buttons and release g ala joystick style, and then resort back to your controller hand placement. Using any joystick, I find it substantially easier to use my index and ring fingers than with my thumb and middle fingers. I scrape those two fingers in the direction of the K button and skim my index over the right edge of Block. hope that helps

    haha Creed, i just noticed your new vfdc title.....carpal tunnel!! err....congrats? /versus/images/icons/crazy.gif

    ermm, thanks

    On the PS2 pad, the best/only way to play VF is to hold it like a flat camera and put your pointer and middle fingers on G and P, then let the pinky and thumb support from underneath. Anyway to do knees on the pad just smack G and K lightly with your pointer and ring finger.
