How to reprogram the xbox wireless controller to w

How do u reprogram the xbox wirless controller to work with a new xbox? Sent xbox in to get circle of death fixed. They sent me a new one and now the wirless controllers are ligting up but never showing the 1 light under the # of players on the world button .

 

There is a white circular button slightly above (or to the left) of the power button, it's right by the two memory card slots. Press that and ring should be going round the power button.

Now look for a smaller white cicular button on the controller that is just to the right of LB, press this after pressing the one on the xbox and the controller should sync and you can use it.
