How to savely Roll???

    i was just wondering.
    i saw some combo videos that shows.
    when the character is hit and fall.
    when they touch the ground.
    they instantly roll away.....
    (not away from the opponent or toward)
    they just roll sideways.
    i was just wondering how do we do that?
    'cus it seems like it recovers holy fast.

    can anyone help me out?

    If you have a PS2 then I strongly suggest you go through the Trial Training mode, and it will teach you about instant recovery among other things.

    There's a document on this site that explains instant recovery in more depth which has been available under the VF4 section for a while now. Please read it.
