1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. Hi, i dont use often dojo on free training...a little to practice combos...i have seen that we can record sequence of opponent and play...interesting to learn to defend ...but i am very very bad about lei fei for example,so hard to record sequence with him to learn to béat him...i prefer play against lei fei CPU very hard to learn... And generally, can you give me ALL use of dojo on free training...things to do to progress after tutorial and list command? Thanks

Dojo (free training) is really good for defense
for example if you want to know what is the best way to deal against some specific situations
    i.e.
let's say you record this with sarah:

    1.- [4][K] Flamingo (mid) [K][K][2][K][K]

    2.- [4][K] Flamingo [K][K][K][K]

In this case you need to guess between using high or low guard, but if you evade towards Sarah stomach you can cover both options, Optimal situation, record, Test and see what is better for you.

For recording the best advice i can give you: use the command list in this site and practice that move or use the command list in the game/dojo command training.

Now, what you can do in dojo? this is my list:
Practice combos (new combos, wall dependent combos, wall and angle dependent combos, etc.)
    meatys
otgs (and also check if the move is safe after tech too)
Defense : EDC, ECD, Punish unsafe moves, dealing with stance, etc.
Akira stuff: Akira Special(SPOD) GBOD, Knee, Tetzuzanko DLC

in general dojo is the way you can learn and discover the game, but remember playing with others is really fun too!

OTG = On The Ground, the attacks you can do when your opponent is lying down, e.g. [3][K] with Vanessa
ECD = Evade Crouch Dash, when you do a sidestep and cancel it by doing crouch dash - [2] or [8] then [3][3][G]. Used to cancel a failed evade and then block. One of many defensive options you can find in this thread: https://virtuafighter.com/threads/vf5-fs-defensive-technique-compendium.19696/

Very good question and actually really hard to give an answer. I just so happen to have made hours of video content where I talk about how to set up dojo and show you some ways to maximize your time in there. Here’s a link to the playlists and videos.

Looking back at all my old videos makes me want to actually remake some of these. I think my oldest videos are actually the most useful info but the quality was booty.
