Hydra @ TBZone Tourney

    The following two movies are Team Hydra's matches in the TBZone tourney. Unfortunately, the first movie gets cut off at the end, so maybe the guys who were there can recap the ending, as well as any other background info to these matches.

    The order of each match was ice-9 (kage), blonde1 (jacky), imf (kage). Movie quality isn't the greatest but still watchable. All I can say is that was one tough tournament! I could really feel the tension and pressure just watching you guys play.

    edit: fixed link to 2nd movie, and added third (final) movie featuring imf's kage against a lei player. Camera work is pretty shocking, but I guess I'd be near collapsing too had I been there watching this nail biting match /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

    Well, as you can see, we run out of tape at the end of the 4th match with the Akira player. I don't remember how that match finishes now, except that Team VFDC wins and we moved on to the final match vs the Lei Fei. =) I was actually ahead in the final match 2-0 and way ahead in the 3rd round when Lei does his charge attack....you can just make out Kage 8 way walking around it...I believe I tried to throw and my throw whiffed, that would have been the match....I ended up getting hit with his d/f+p+g and then lost the round. The Lei player comes back from there to win.

    Good stuff. It's really cool to see U.S. players competing against other countries. Looks like you guys almost had it there also. Good job guys, esp. IMF. You did real well and I can't wait to play all you guys in TX.

    Okay this information I found using the recently uploaded information at TBZone tourney website.

    The first team VFDC team fights is "No Brain Orc"
    Team No Brain sent three teams to this tourney and they were named:
    No Brain Undead
    No Brain Human
    No Brain Orc

    No Brain Undead made to the top 16.

    The team with Jacky and Jeffry is named "Don't Hit Me" They are Magoja the Lau player's team. (He has his own personal web site at magoja.com.) Magoja would have been the third player.

    Well, I am not fully sure what post you are referring to, but in that link I mentioned in other thread you will find tons of pictures. The movie link is not working yet. Hopefully sombody will make replies to the other thread when TBZone update with movies.
