I know, no requests allowed. But i hate youtube!

I guess I am from an older time of fighting game videos. But i really hate watching uTube or other streaming videos if it can be avoided.

I am sure that are others like me. So here I am asking if there are any sites that offer downlaodable videos? I remember back in the day of VF3tb/VF4 there were quite a few FTP sites you could get good videos from and there was a place you could DL VF5 vids that were posted from VF.TV.

Please post any and all links with good downloadable videos.

If this post is against some serious rules please notify me and I will delete it or just delete it.

I imagine the days of FTP and download are pretty much at an end. YouTube and its competitors host for free. If something along the lines of Stage6 comes back, you'll get the quality you want.

As far as streaming is concerned - use capture software.

I have the capture softwear but the quality is so shit. I guess I will just have to deal with it.

Actually, I remember seeing an option for high quality on some YouTube vids. Check below the view count on this video. There's an option to watch in high quality.

The next time I upload fighting vids, I'll look into getting them up in higher quality. My encoded vids start out as 30 MB files so maybe I can make them look good (even though the vid dimension is small).

I just got back from discovering what Jeneric posted above. It's fucking amazing.

My house in high quality! I can read the subtitles! Much better than low quality.

A fight in high quality. The sound is better, too.

When do you plan on having another GtG? I would love to come and I could bring some badass sticks. But i dont know if yo would have room for a custom built linked cabinet in your house.

Here is another question. If there are NO places to download match vids where the hell are all these Jap players getting the vids to upload to youtube?

I swear Sega has a way you can DL the match vids. I just dont know how.

It's a VF.net service... you press P+K+G at the end of a match and you can save that replay. Then you can download it the following day after it's rendered. VF.net only hosts 3 videos per account for you though so you have to download it, then delete it off their server.

Reno - Previously there was a way to be able to download those match vids. Is it only available now to players?
