Came across this when quoting a previous post about Pai's movesets and was unable to post a reply, since I included too many images I.E. 9 [P][+][K][+][G]. If it exceeds 20 images, which, if replying to a post or including a lot of these images, I am unable to post it. I know I can revert to the old style of 9P+K+G, but I like having access to the visual style.

Any old posts with command graphics were converted with hard image links, and as you encoutered, there's a limit on the number of images you can embed in a post.

However, the new command graphic icons have been revamped as smilies. One thing you could do is:
    1. While composing the post/reply, switch to BB Code Editor view (the aA icon in the top right)
    2. Copy/paste the content in question into a text editor
    3. Perform a global find/replace on the appropriate image link with the smilie code. For example, find:
      Code:
      [P]
      and replace with:
      Code:
      [P]
    4. Replace the post/reply with the smilie-fied version and you should be good to go.

Actually, would people prefer if I did this replacement globally?

To do so would mean I would have to close the board temporarily. It should hopefully take no more than 30 minutes to complete and I'll schedule it during a less busy time (say, 10 hours from the time of this post).

I'm definitely on board with the global replacement suggestion.

Thanks for the workaround Myke, the error had me worried for a while.

    No probs!

Also, please let me know what other broken codes are still lying around. If they're not too complex, then I can take this time to fix them as well.

    E.g.

    Code:
    > replace with >
    < replace with <

Whoops, shouldn't have gone to the trouble of editing my posts so quickly :p

I noticed that ampersands didn't display correctly in the post I edited.

    Code:
     & replace with &
