Is this WEBSITE permanently going to stay like it?

Seriously, I honestly don't know and would like to know.

Before VFDC used to have some decent menus where newcomers could access movelists and combolists, external links and what not. But now just get to such fundamental information one has to navigate multiple levels of cluttered forum lists. I know the information for VF5 was scarce but we are past that stage. I am sorry but this is a step back from the last year.

(If you yell at me: who the hell are you what did you do for VFDC beside complaining blah blah. Well guess what I am a working adult with a full time job and personal matters to deal with and it's my choice not to spend my body and soul for a videogame. But I still love VF and feel sorry that we never and probably never will have a VF website that even remotely matches tekkenzaibutsu. Given that I would like to see this website at least going back to the level of completeness we had back in 2006.)

 

There is stuff coming, please be patient.

You mean that tekkenzaibatsu site that doesn't have frame data for a game that came out for consumer systems last year?
The one where the frame data it does have for the older version is seperate from the movelists?
The site that pops up ipod spam?

AFAIK, myke's plan was to link to the movelists etc more prominently once they're done.

Just joking, seriously though, VF is NOT Tekken, never has been, never will be. For the next person/s that come on VFDC and say stuff like "How come this site isn't like the SF/SC/Tekken/DOA/etc. site? Here's the answer:
IT JUST ISN'T. GET OVER IT. END OF STORY.

well if you read the forum notes at the top of the forum page, you will know that there are updates to the page in the future.

also, plz dont complain about this site/forum. as long as all of the people are helpful(which they are), it will be a better site than tekkenzibatsu. to be honest, i havent been to the site, but if they have gotten to the point that they need pop-ups, it cant be that good.

Yep. I second that. And the fact that this site isn't like for example tekkenzaibatsu, means it's a lot better than any webpage about a fighting game, and for me, the best about VF. Bottom line.... Tekken sucks! (had to say it again, sorry /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif )

i diddnt really have a problem with tekken until 5 came out. i was a big fan of tekken 3 and 4 and they really helped me get into 3d fighting games. the tiers werent that far apart as compared to maybe 2 or 5(hmm wonder why). i had many problems with 5 though. for one, they stole the idea of item customization from vf4:evo. was it a good idea? Sure, but you dont rob a bank because it has a lot of money, do you? 2nd, the final boss was top tier. not to mention all of the top tier characters are like so due to their long range attacks.
