Israel VF scene

Hey, I've been in Israel now for a few days and just had a few interesting observations about the vf scene. I've seen a TON of top of the line Vf1 and vf2 machines, ie sit down cabinets, excellent controllers...a few people still dawdle playing vf2. The game must of been huge at some point or another, because there are a bunch of machines all over Tel-aviv and Jersalem that are now just collecting dust. Oh well, thats it for now.

 

Yeah you can find a lot of things unexpected things in Jerusalem.
Except for Christmas spirit that is.

 

Actually, christmas was pretty much in full effect. The shootings of the students at the Yishiva definaty dampered things....oh yeah, I found a SIT DOWN vf3 machine...too bad the controlers were too messed up to really play.

 

Strange, not what the media(both here as well as Israeli media like Haaretz and Jerusalem post) portrayed.

 

wow! vf machines in israel! with few people playing! that's utterly fucking amazing! that's almost like finding a vf machines with no real following in, like, south africa or russia or brazil or someplace! or even the vast, vast majority of north american arcades, if not the world, except for japan! except with not as many jews and arabs in the same area! HOLY SHIT SNOWBALLS, BATMAN!
