Jacky Black Book?

Why isn't there one?

 

Anyone have an idea? People still working on translation so it can be added to the wiki? Just no Black Book for Jacky?

 

The black book covers every character. If there isn't a post yet, just means noone's done the translation/writeup yet. With luck, someone will see this and add the info for you.

Learn his movelist: you can duck a lot of things.

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif can be ducked on reaction.
Hear a swish and see /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif? Duck after blocking it.

Learn what is punishable: punish accordingly; if you block /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif DON'T just stand there or do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif or always throw: do something that knocks down and is 14-15 frames. In general: LOOK FOR THE OPPONENT'S HABITS.

What do they do at advantage? Disadvantage? Where do they usually step? Do they know how to punish? etc.

And most importantly: learn your own character.

What is "abare"?

 

To some it means Going in Headless, Being Random, off beat, out of sync ETC. Anything other than the norm. To some its good to other its very bad. Me i abare on offense but on small advantages its pure quick strikes.

Basically after the Sword Cancel Jacky is always at a Great advantage to attack again so don't think for a second you gonna land some kind of attack on him cause you won't.

I think the Jacky Strategy writeup is a great place for people to start learning Jacky. My guess is that it covers much of what the Black Book had covered anyhow.

I agree but from my understanding the Black book strats are from the best of the best. It is basically their own strategy and tips on how to play the character. The Jacky Strategy provided on the wiki is great, no question there, just figured if there is a write up on Jacky from one of the top players it would be nice to read.

But I haven't read the Black Book so maybe your right and the strategy provided here is nearly identical.
