Jacky Vs. Pai

What are the best techniques for beating an advanced Pai?? I have a friend who has about 1 year more exp. than I do. Determined to WIN!!

 

LOL Justin, you and Ben need to stop using that newb excuse.
First off, you have played Evo much more than me. Second, the only more play time I have is against the braindead AI in VF4 v.c- which was more of a hinderance than help for playing against a real person.
Third, I hardly used Pai in VF4 and she's almost an all new character in Evo.
Forth, we have the same amount of time playing against real people.


You guys seriously need to stop using that excuse

 

after you block many of pai's pokes... prepare to lp. If you don't successfully interrupt, watch for the dodge. If you see pai dodging alot, throw her ever if you block things that are not throw counterable. if Pai likes to lp back after you lp interrupt her, follow your lp by an elbow class move. This is VF playing 101, but it's amazing when you apply it thoughtfully.
