After getting so much into Virtua Fighter 5, much of Team Crooked Jester and friends has lamented on the lack of quality sticks available for the game. Most stick designs are setup for Soul Calibur, Tekken or Street Fighter; so we decided to start making our own sticks. In addition to making our own sticks, we decided we would start selling sticks as well in effort to expand the name of Crooked Jester and cover much of the costs endured by our team. So this thread includes information for ordering your own stick and figuring out how much it is going to cost.

You guys are really doing the Lord's work there man. Do you think you will be making versions compatible with the Xbox 360? I don't see many good options for the Xbox and your $300 dollar one looks awesome. I figure I could offload my VSHG's and get a pair of nice custom ones for the 360.

Yes, I can do 360 sticks... but I will have to charge a premium based on how much the 360 controller I need to take apart costs. 360 controllers are a lot more expensive than $1 Third Party PSX controllers... As well, you can send me the wired 360 controller yourself and avoid the premium.

 

Okay... my friends and I have finalized the prices for blank sticks...

If you dont want buttons, subtract $50 from the final price
If you dont want it painted, subtract $25 from the final price...

So in total, you could get $75 off for a blank stick.

Premium pricing for 360 sticks has already been worked out as well.

 

i have the money to buy a stick now but im going on a cruise on friday so i know that money is going to be gone. And i wanted one so bad. Maybe you could offer a custom stick as a prize in one of your tournaments?

 

It costs about $80-$100 in parts just to make a stick... so that will be tough...

And which tournament do I award it to? The VF5 tourney or the SC3 tourney? They will most likely be the biggest at our October Halloween Havoc tournament...

Do I award it to the mystery game tournament just to be fair? =P

 

is it possible for the stick to be comparable with both ps3 and xbox360 console?

 

That is possible by having the controller box OUTSIDE of the stick, instead of inside the stick, and then just plugging the in and out.
