Jean + Taka - Which character do you like more?

Which character are you looking forward to more out of Jean Kujo & Taka Arashi?

 

Clearly Jean.

 

Taka, because if I wanted to use somebody with strong looking moves that look like traditional Martial Arts, I'd go with Akira.

 

Actually none of the two, im looking much more foward to seeing kage changes.
But if i have to pick, it will be taka

 

Taka because I like big men... Also to me he's a reflection of what I wanted Jeffry to be strength-wise.

 

From what I tried, Jean. It's easier to pull off some BnB combos with my Karate fellow countryman. But I think I'll just play him casually because my main will remain Goh.

 

Taka, because sumo is like professional wrestling, only real. And Taka-Arashi is a rare example of a sumo wrestler played "straight", not a joke character/idiot. He's a huge sumo champion that seems to love stomping people into the ground.

I'm going to have fun stomping people into the ground.

Jean turned out pretty cool, but not really my cup of tea. I'll stick to Sarah for the kicks and Goh for the style/attitude needs, I guess.

 

Taka looks like a interesting character im gonna do his trials right after I've finished Goh and Aoi's, Im so hyped right now man I can't believe FS is only one day away its unreal.

 

I don't a particular preference on this subject, but they will be still used. However, Jean has Goth clothes, so I am curious to see more of that quality.

 

jean is more my style, but taka is also AWESOME!!

Jean is good - he tests how smart you are
but i prefer taka - he tests how simple you are

 

Taka has power. Jean has flash and nice mix up game. Looking forward to testing Jean out but I am more hype for all the new moves and stuff for my mains Wolf Brad and Sarah

 

I can't choose! I like Jean's style but I'm also really eager to play as Taka again, after so many hours playing VF3.

 

Will try both but I think Jean will round up my team (Jacky&Brad)

 

I like Jean's abundance of charge up moves, and it looks like it will be really satisfying to mount an offense with him, but Taka is just like nothing else out there. It's rare that you get a character like him in fighting games who reacts differently to moves, and falls in his own combo class, without being a full-on gimmick/joke/tourney-banned character.

I have a complaint about Jean's design... he's not to scale.

He's not too big as in Jeffry, Wolf, and Taka, i.e. correctly large. No, it's like when Sega was putting him in the game, they scaled him incorrectly. For example, compare the size of his head to Goh's. Jean's scale is incorrect and it's pretty horrendous.

And Goh might be scaled a bit too small, for that matter. El Blaze is the worst. Compare the size of El Blaze's head to 1 of the girls. He's supposed to be short, but his scale makes him look like a kid.

 

You're suggesting that he should be short with an enlarged head?

 

Jean has some pretty nasty and brutal karate attacks. As of now my favorite 3D karateka. I never liked sumo anything so Taka was no good for me. I tried him out and while I respect how AM2 handled him, he's not my style. I always wanted to try Jean since I saw VF5R and when I finally got to play him, I was not letdown.
