    I've been having some trouble with Kage's BDBS (back dash, bitch slap) with Pai and am looking for a little help. Suggestions on how to time a reversal against the bitch slap, appropriately dodge (can you go either direction?) or a short list of moves that take priority over it would be appreciated. General information is nice, Pai-specific information would be ideal.

    I would love to help you - but I have no idea what Kage's BDBS is. It would be more helpful to write the commands for the move...

    BDBS = [4][4],[3]+[P]
    That is what I have always heard of it as.
    Fixed it Myke, you can tell I am sleepy. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif Going to bed now.

    umm, more correctly, it'd be [4][4] ~ [3][P]. If you did a backward crouch dash, you'd be crouching, and [3][P] from a crouch position is his uppercut.

    How to deal with it? You just have to be wary that it can dodge high attacks, so don't try to hit him out of it early with a high attack. It's half circular, so you can only dodge it in one direction (towards his back).

    With Pai, you can try a reversal or inashi if your opponent habitually does it. Otherwise a middle kick [3][K] should suffice should you have advantage and he doesn't dash back too far. You can back dash yourself if you're not confident enough to dodge it, and should it whiff, try for a low throw if you're in range.

    If you can, just experiment with it in training mode.
