Are there still some beginners playing online, or is everyone a beast? I'm prepared to take a beating, but hopefully not forever. =)

Kicking my Street Fighter habits won't be easy.

 

I see new people absolutely every time I log on. Plenty of new players still picking up the game and joining the community. Enjoy!!!

 

Yep there appear to be plenty of new VFers online. After a rough first night, I went something like 14-10 in rated my second night, made it to 5th kyu. Was able to find players around my skill level in a matter of minutes, all night long. Lots of fun!

P.S. Low punch is lame. =p

 

Sweet man. I finally got my giftcard from Circuit City to get another Xbox after waiting 3 grueling weeks for it. And it was pretty dope to find out that almost everything i've learned/got accustomed to since I started is now pretty much gone lol, but spendin some time in the dojo and some fights should bring back dem durr reflexes again. But the best part, is that all my items are gone and I know how long the road is to get em back, even with the balloon trick. I wouldn't mind so much if the stuff I wanted wasn't at dang near the very end hahah. Ahh well, least I got a new box and it's alot quieter than my old one..Anyways, all that other stuff was uneccessary but I had to get it out of me. I'll hit you up brah and since we boaf stay in florida hopefully we'll have a good connection.

 

Just got my game and 360 as well.

Man i love this game and have missed playing VF. Back when vf4 came out we had a few people here in phoenix that would play but they dont any more.

Ima be on late at night but not everynight, mostly just weekends. I work and go to school and I already got a taste of how addictive VF online can be so I'm going to try really hard to not be on it too long. Plus, online kinda sucks compared to offline. It's comfy and you've got a bigger selection of opponents but half of the shit that works offline won't work online and vice-versa. Then again, I've only played for a couple of days so my opinion is still biased. It's really fun to meet new people though /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Juno, it'd be nice if you and the other few Miami players who haven't come out to a gathering would come out when Maddy comes down to Florida /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
