Left 4 Dead 360: Who has it?

Got the game and its the only one thing keeping me away from SFHD and VF. I was thinking of getting a friendly versus match going (4 survivors vs. 4 infected).

I'd like to assemble a crew to take on expert campaigns

Me and another friend of mine, we've been trying to assemble a crew, but the others that join us run around and do their own thing or don't have mics. We run into trouble on the finales.

EDIT: on expert, it's too serious. If you got a shotgun and you friendly fire on accident, you floor your teammate. You gotta be able to aim, and be willing to ration off your health packs and stuff. It's all teamwork.

 

I got it, and play it daily on Expert. It's awesome fun, never quite the same. While it's fun to raid zombies with random people, the outcome isn't always as great. As you've described, shooting down other survivors becomes a grave problem in such parties. But usually after one or two rounds the team will stick much better together, only using melee in close-quarter battles when friends are around.

I'd be pretty much up for an organized approach to L4D.

@Brisal: Versus Mode is gorgeous, though it needs even better team work on the Infected side.

I'd advise anyone to get down the tactics before going into Versus madness. Here's a quite good guide that covers the basics well: Versus Mode Guide 0.5.

 

You guys, hit me up too! I love Left 4 Dead but it's soooo hard to find good players who know how to cooperate. I hate it b/c some people move way too fast and forget about their team mates and some decide to wait in one room and just camp. UGH playing as humans is definitely a lot more frustrating!

 

I take it that I'd had more fun if I played with the right people

Game is off the charts, just started playing it yesterday. My skills isn't up to an expert run yet unfortunately. I'm having a hard time keeping up with what is going on onscreen. I'm just not used to FPS style games. Hopefully I can get the hang of this and play some games with you guys.

 

I just got it today. really fun, but I'm pretty bad at it so far. haven't tried out versus mode yet, sounds like it's a blast though.

 

The first expert achievement might be glitched, I finished Death Toll on Expert last night and didn't get the achievement for finishing 1 campaign on Expert. Then later we finished No Mercy on Expert and I got the expert achievement(Zombicidal Maniac), but my tally was at 1/4 for the All Expert campaign and after both Death Toll and No Mercy it still read 1/4.

So it probably only grants you the achievement if you survive EVERY chapter during a campaign, which I didn't do on Death Toll my character died on the first chapter of death toll to revive with 50+.

Btw, the Hunting Rifle is my new weapon of choice every campaign.

 

The game is great fun, but is occasionally bogged down by idiotic teammates and the fact that on versus everybody wants to be the infected. Not having a mic in this game definately dampens the experience.

 

DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE UPDATES FOR THE PC YET. iT GOING TO HAVE LIKE 10 NEW STAGES.

I didnt hear about that no... I've only seen the "crossroads mall" from dawn of the dead, which was built by the mod community.
