    Haishiki
From Haishiki you have Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif which executes quickly, Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif a mid hit which launches on normal hit and Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif which has good reach, and useful properties, being a hard to see low hit which is fully circular - these are your main moves.
From Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif your string are - Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif which is a natural combo, and even on guard gives advantage making it strong. It is a high hit, but afterwards you are in Doku stance, and even if it is guarded Doku /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif can't be interrupted. This and stance cancel throw makes for an effective mixup. Next Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. The second hit can be evaded, but if the first hit is a counter hit, it is a combo. If this is guarded it gives advantage, but if the second hit is a counter hit a dash into throw, standing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif will string.
The stance of Hai is low, so it is easy to avoid opponents moves. You can also shift into other stances from Hai, and use this to maintain your space, or go in to Doku stance and get an atemi, or go for an attack from another stance. For example, from the start or at mid range you can back dash into Hai stance, then use /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif to go into Doku, and with the big evasion you can hit your opponent's whiffed move with Doku /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif. If you focus on this stance movment for spacing, you can make your opponent whiff their wake up attack and hit them during their recovery. You can achieve various tricky movements like this.

    Bokutai
Bokutai stance comes from either Hai stance, or pressing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif after specific moves. As it appears, the stance is very low, and makes it easy to cause your opponent to whiff moves. Against characters like Akira in particular, where he has few moves with priority down low or low hitting moves, going into bokutai at mid range is advantageous.
The main moves from Bokutai are - Bokutai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif for launching your opponent when they whiff a move. This move is special high, and whill hit on an opponent's recovering /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, and on guard there is no guaranteed retaliation.
Next is bokutai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. On guard, depending on your opponent's recovery speed Lei Fei can end up at disadvantage, but it does give a stagger. This move itself does have evasive properties, so just using it makes it strong. Against opponents who evade or guard after a stance attack, the change of stance (into Bokutai) will cause their evade to be failed, and the move automatically becomes a delayed attack. It is also effective on guard, so you can rely on it.

    Dokuritsu stance (independent stance)
The most important special feature of Dokuritsu stance is that the stance itself will reverse the opponent's high, mid and low /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif as well as elbows. You can get it guaranteed after certain moves shift into dokuritsu stance, but be careful of trying to get it when at disadvantage, as the reversal property may not activate in time.
The main move from Doku stance is /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif - it's poweful and on hit gives bum stagger. There is no guaranteed retaliation on guard, making it the main mid from doku. Next is doku /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif which gives stagger on hit. After the move you are in hai stance, and against opponents who recover from the stagger hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is guaranteed. From here if the opponent doesn't recover the Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif will whiff, or if they recover ASAP and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif they can hit you during Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif for a small float. In this insatnce, go for Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif to deal with it.
When you shift into Doku automatically after a move and are left at disadvantage, Doku /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif can avoid the opponent's attack while continuing to attack yourself. It is easier to be effective if you execute the move just as the opponent tries to attack. However, it is a full circular low move, so it can be beaten by crouch guarding. Against opponents that do this, guard cancel stance and choose what to d next.

    - The Dokuritsu stance reversal damage depends on the move done by the opponent, so it can be quite high. In a mirror match, if you catch the opponent's Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif it gives big damage.
    - After a reversal, if you close the distance a little and go for a down attack, it can be difficult to avoid, so always go for it.
    - Doku stance /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is surprisingly strong. The move is quick, and if the first hit connects the second is guaranteed. After this you are advantaged, so you can continue to attack from Doku.
    - After getting the first hit to connect and then OM is effective. Because the follow on is high, your opponent will want to duck, and frame wise OM will work.

    Suirakan stance
Mainly a stance from Nehan or Reverse-Nehan stance, it mainly has its role in attacking. Like Bokutai, the position is low so it's hard to eat moves, but when they do connect you cannot tech-roll. After going into stance you can attack, but you can only get out of stance by holding guard, which will put you into a down state.
The main move from in Sui stance is the long ranged Sui /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. The execution is no slower than it appears, and you can use it effectively as a surprise attack. As previously stated, when slightly separated from the wall it is advantageous.
Sui /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif are the low hitting moves. The former gives stagger on hit, and switches to reverse nehan afterwards. Both push back on guard, so use them as you like.

    - Sui /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif can avoid lows and attack. However, it is hard to combo ff, so it's best to thing of it as a knock down move apart from when you are at the wall.

Awesome. Can't wait for the description on Ura Ko Ko Shiki. I keep hearing about how good that stance is.

The thing I'm noticing about Suiraken is you have to be super unpredictable with it and commit to the stance (meaning you have no choice but to do a Suiraken move when you're in it) because trying to go in neutral when in it seems like the worst thing to do.

    Koko Stance
Koko stance can be entered after moves like /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, there is no other way into the stance. While in Koko you can move forwards and backwards, and you can shift to Hai stance while shifting axis. You have many moves that sabaki, so the opponent may be loathe to throw out moves, meaning that there will be many chance to play mind games.
Koko /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is a mid move that will sabaki the majority of low moves. After the move it will shift to nehan stance, and on hit it will put them in butt stagger. In addition to being fast to execute, it will beat out certain mid moves when you are advatnaged, so it is the main mid attack from Koko stance. One other sabaki move is Koko /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, which will sabaki high and mid single arm and single leg attacks, and elbows and knees, and on hit causes head crumple. It has no guaranteed punishment on block, and is useful when a move that goes into Koko stance whiffs. For those common opponent's that hate these sabaki attacks, and tends to stand guard or evade, it is often easy to put out a move by habit rather than thinking about advantage/disadvantage. Instead of always going for a sabaki move at disadvantage and hoping for something to happen, look for your opponents patterns and beat them.

    - The move to Hai stance will evade the opponent's attacks. It has evasive properties, so if you do slip them, retaliate.
    - Koko /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is useful against opponents who have moves that sabaki. The follow-up /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is guaranteed.

    Nehan stance
While nehan stance doesn't really have particularly powerful attacks, if used well it can confuse the opponent. First, Nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is a mid move that can sabaki and leads into a string. After the move you are in reverse koko stance. The similar move nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif leads into a special high string, and after the move goes into reverse nehan stance. If the string hits on counter hit, Doku /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif is guaranteed, so remember it. Against opponents who hate these options, and tend to either use a quick attack or guard, use Nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. It's a full circular low move with considerable recovery, but if you don't use it you can't really exploit the other moves.
In Nehan stance, you are looking to control spacing. Use it's lowness while maintaining distance. A useful move from here is Nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. The execution is slow, but the reach is low, and on hit it gives butt stagger. One more move, Nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif is a special high full circular attack which goes to Koko stance afterwards, and on counter hit guarantees Koko /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. You can do about 40% damage with this, so if it connects it will be big.

    - Nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif on counter hit will combo up to Nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. You can use delays, so mix it up to best use it.
    - Even if Nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is guarded you have advantage, and you are not in stance afterwards so you can pressure with a standard mixup. The Nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif strings will also give advantage on guard.

    Reverse Koko stance
This is mainly a stance you will shift to from /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. Reverse Koko /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif has the same properties as Koko /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, so even if the opponent blocks your move for transitioning into stance, so there is no guaranteed punishment. For opponents that use non-sabaki-able moves here, you can use /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif as appropriate. A move that is strong after /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif hits is Reverse Koko /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif. It is a full circular special high that on hit will turn them sideways. Afterwards you can shift to either Hai stance or Bokutai stance, and on counter hit you are advantaged to the extent that Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif or Bokutai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif cannot be guarded with a standing guard. Against opponents who would crouch these, you can use Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif or Bokutai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif.
Against opponents who see Reverse Koko stance and freeze up, Reverse Koko /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. It is a low move that on hit gives a stagger, from which evading Hai /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is very hard. Even on guard, Doku /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif will evade attacks, making it strong. Against opponent's who will crouch guard or use low attacks, Ura koko /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is a half circular mid attack which has airborne properties, and will cause butt stagger on hit. After the move you are right up close and largely advantaged.

    - Reverse koko /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif has a large movement, so it is easy to adapt to, but it is strong against lows and has good reach, making it strong.
    - When Reverse koko /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif is guarded, if you press /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif you will go into bokutai, and from there you can go into nehan and escape to safety.

    Reverse Nehan Stance
Used predominantly in combos, after /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif with transitions. You can go into Hai, Doku and Sui from here, so watch your opponent and shift accordingly. In particular switching to doku after your transition into reverse nehan was blocked allows for atemi to occur, grabbing even the opponent's immediate standing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. This lets you mix up your attack timing from Reverse nehan.
Regarding the attacks from reverse nehan, reverse nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is a fast executing move that goes into strings (Nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif and reverse nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is a low risk move - these are your mains. The former will hit crouchers on the second hit, and if the second hit is a counter hit it is guaranteed to the end, and will launch them high. The later is a mid move that you can just hit confirm, and it executes quickly, with little recovery on the first move. These can both be evaded, so also use reverse-nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif. This goes into koko stance afterwards, and is strong against opponent's retaliations. Also, there is a low full circular follow-up, so you can also go with this.

    - With head crumple, the combo from the slam hit /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif allows for a powerful okizeme. Whiff the first hit of reverse Nehan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif
    - from which you can either continue to attack or stop at the first hit and go for a 0-frame throw. That juggle will mean that if the opponent tech rolls to the side they won't be able to guard, so they must rise in place.

Very in depth and still over my head. Though each time I reread after a couple hours of play more and more makes sense. I have been playing Lei Fei since VF2 and have stuck with him. In VF5 i have made great effort to rise above the typical button mashing inputs. I feel I have started and these posts have been the single greatest resource. Noodalls your efforts are definately appreciated. Keep them coming. Also, I have been experimenting greatly with combos and follow ups, so anything there would be appreciated as well.

If you want, i can do that for you. I can just take pictures of my lei fei in vf5, with my digital camera or something...
