Sup folks! Blitzball Champ here, host of VF Arena! So I wanted to branch off a little bit and talk about something I enjoy as much as gaming, Anime! So here is a rundown of some of my favorite anime shows:

Dragon Ball Z is the only one on your list I'm familiar with. DBZ first season was good I thought ,but after that it didn't really do anything for me. The reason I liked first season best(I've seen all seasons) is because it felt more nailed down and complete. Every character had there shining moment: yajirobi cutting off Vegetas tail, Tien assaualting Nappa after his friend died, Piccolo training Gohan, and even Kami helping train the Z warriors for the arrival of Sayains. The first season also had some character relationships with Gohan and Piccolo bonding.


I also liked the show Blade I saw on Crackle. It combined good action with decent story(which is rare).

Also Jacko is going to murder you for not having Sailor Moon on your list,lol. jk

 

Yeah, I didn't really like Sailor Moon. Used to watch it in the mornings on FOX before I go to school, but I would always go for the villains every episode I watched. The only Sailor Scout I tolerated was Mars because of her fire attack. All the other scouts and attacks were lame to me, especially that tiara attack Sailor Moon does. Really? That is how she wins? Just looks lame to me.

 

Gotta love some gatsu from berserk. I wish more animation was/will be created.

I am familiar with everything you listed and more I watch a ton of anime when I am not playing VF or talking to you people here. I could write all of the stuff I have seen but I don't want to make a post a few pages long listing them all. I don't even know all of the stuff I have seen off of the top of my head either. Anyway my favorite type of anime is fantasy with knights, sword, elves, etc. My favorite anime series in general is Cowboy Bebop. Is there anything else I should be talking about as well on this topic too

 

You might want to check out GATE shadowmaster.. It has swords, knights, some elves, and a modern world setting intermixed with the old world. Show has a good mix of action and comedy, with some serious parts. http://www.crunchyroll.com/gate

There has been some good new anime over the last year or so with summer 2015 being a particularly strong season with Overlord, Prison School, Gate, Blood Blockade Battlefront, and many other good series. Making a list of everything i've seen would be too long, but i've seen a lot of blitz's list.

Ninja Scroll was pretty cool. I own Basilisk, but haven't started it yet.

Any anime you would suggest as well.

 

Don't really watch the stuff anymore, but I heard Blade & Soul was terrible, so you should pass on that

Last one I saw was Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, which is a must if you haven't seen it.

If you can find them, two more obscure titles I would recommend are Planetes and Serial Experiments Lain

 

Fullmetal Alchemist is the only Anime I've ever seen. I really liked it, and I wouldn't mind checking out a few more, I'm just pretty clueless as to where to start.

 

Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood as good as code geass for me. Maybe even better
