I wonder who designed the VF5 loading screen. It's not that the game is really slowing down, it's just sort of designed to look that way?!

I mean, the stilted images that look like they would naturally flow. But when I look at vids of the arcade, it's the same way.

When I play the game in public, people start to comment that VF5 has the worst loading times when it obviously doesn't.

It just has the dumbest loading screen.

    Just a thought...

It does have bad loading time if you don't load the 2GB save data file when you start it up.

In my opinion, VF5 load times are pretty bad, even if you do have the 2GB cache option enabled.

On my 20GB PS3, a standard vs. match (with both profiles activated) takes between 8 and 10 seconds to load, on average. Since, by all accounts, the 60GB drive is considerably faster (I guess I have to thank Sony for not letting me know that beforehand), I would expect that time to drop a bit, maybe reaching a very acceptable 5 seconds.

Without the cache it's horrible, upwards of 15 seconds per match.
