    Simple topic, post any series you know of good Lei Fei dancing, or post links to FAQs etc.

    Thanks-

    Go to pose->Cancel w/ [G]->repeat

    Start slow and the rest will follow.

    I watched Heruru the other day and his is nothing like that.

    He was playing against a Lau player, and he danced backwards a good distance, and the Lau player began to close it, immediately Heruru pressed [8][P]+[K]+[G] and reversed the Lau [P][P][P] combo, stuff like that is what I want 2 learn!

    There are lots of ways to dance with his stances. A simple one is [8]+[P][K][G] - [1]+[P][K][G] - [2]+[P][K][G], repeat. That one's really for show though. What I like to do is [1][1] - [8]+[P][K][G], [G] cancel, repeat for retreating. To catch people off guard I alternate between [8]+[P][K][G] and [2]+[P][K][G] while [G] cancelling each stance then quickly [DM] [P],[P]+[K] [DM] or [K] or [IN] [2]+[K]

    popular cycles which have'nt been mentioned:

    defensive backstepping:
    > [8] [P]+[K]+[G] ~ [4]+[P]+[K]+[G] (repeat)

    feet switch:
    >[2]+[P]+[K]+[G] ~ [4]+[P]+[K]+[G] (repeat)

    evo boukotai addition:
    >[2]+[P]+[K]+[G] ~ [2] ~ [8] [P]+[K]+[G] (repeat)

    You could always just go crazy on the arcade stick and hope for the best. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    This one only works in evolution but it's the most used by professional and the coolest looking.
    From [2][P]+[K]+[G] stance. -> [8][P]+[K]+[G] -> [2][P]+[K]+[G]+ [2]. Repeat many times and fast.

    I have watched clips of Lei in Evo and it seems he can cycle through his stances extremely fast, I cannot do that in Ver. C. Is that because I'm slow or is he changed in Evo so that it can be done much faster?

    The really cool one is done like this but it's very hard to do. I still can't do it.

    [8][P]+[K]+[G] [1][P]+[K]+[G] [2][P]+[K]+[G] then [2] cycle

    If somebody here can do it please show me how.

    Last I checked (ver. A anyway) the stances were a smidgeon slower in Evo. You just gotta get good at it.

    So how the heck do they do it?! Do they guard cancel after every stance? When they're doing it, its so fast its like a blur of movement and can hardly even see the stances. Anyone here that can do this?

    You can go from any stance to any stance. G-cancel takes you OUT of the stance. Try pushing up and all three buttons, and IMMEDIATELY down and all three buttons. Repeat. That'll get you started.

    Yea, I can do that quickly but it seems like there is a longer animation time before I can go into the next stance. From some of the videos it seems like one can go from stance to stance without any delay. One of the videos I saw was a Daioh Pai video in "assorted character videos" in media forum. I changed the name of it on my comp so I don't know exactly what one it is, its 29.5 MB though

    That's b/c they can. You don't have to wait for the animation to finish to go into another stance, nor do you have to wait for it to finish (or your eyes to recognize it I should say) to kick off the moves.
