Megacon, Roanoke VA 2004 April 9 and 10

my friends are putting together a con apparently, and they are having a bunch of games there for play, its all cash prizes and some accesories from the sponsors, its a little small but it should hold for some good fighting game compeition, so if u guys are intrested go to www.megacon.tk and check it out (i know its on the day for final round but if u guys aren't going to that u should go to this, i haven't decided where im going yet if im able to go to final round so i might be at megacon)

 

Another tourney I can get owned in? Sweet. But what is the cost of entering each tourney? This isn't listed on the site.

edit: the guy doing the website is an idiot (i know him so i would know) and he set it as final round 4 out of 7, but its actually 5 out of 7, any other questions... u know where to post

that would be cool, apparently some people from Virginia Tech are coming down to play i believe and that should be some decent competition and plus there are... two from roanoke that play hardcore /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif but im sure if we get more people to come it will be better

 

driftplusplus were you at the greensboro tournament? my friend went down there, fireballtrap, and owned in ggxx, but faired in vf4...

but anyway is there only 2 people going to this? cause if thats the case im just going to find some way to go to final round

Honestly, no one else besides Sumeragi is on my level in this state that I have come across....not saying that to talk shit, but a lot of it is that for the last few years, I've played to win and everything else is secondary.

Yes, I was there and yes, Fireballtrap did own in GGXX. It was unfortunate that the only VF he played was in the tournament. Alas, I will not be able to attend this tourney. I am trying to get a group together locally the same weekend and I feel that expanding my immediate VF community has higher priority. I do mourn the loss of the opportunity to play you both, VA_King and Shadowdean. Damn, I love getting owned. Maybe some other time.

 

lol no worries, when i move into my new house i'm going to host something some weekend and everyone is invited! so we'll play sometime, and isn't fireballtrap's goh insane? u just have to play that match careful, and shadowdean i like a man who is devoted to his vf4 i see a promising match coming up
