Great tournament tonight, guys! Turn-outs were higher than I expected with a total of 14 players signed up! (nearly a full 16 player bracket)

<ul>[*]MAJOR props goes to Renzuo for providing not one, but TWO VSHGs which really saved the tourney from becoming a pad only event (provided our USB adapters worked). Very much appreciated, man! Turnout was actually better than I thought it would be and there were actually a good amount of decent players, I figured about half of you would be kinda low level but you weren't. I had to bolt coz I had a surprise party to attend to. Good games though, I was loving the EL BLAZE action despite no running hot dog.

Geez KayRant! 7th? Is that the best you can do with your one stance scrubby Vanessa? You need more practice, go home!!

 

Is there a VF5 machine in melb or you guys playing ps3?

By the way, RaginMist was Aoi then went Lei Fei, no one bothered to bring it up coz he was only playing for shits and giggles and didn't know what he was doing.

So Substandard, were you the guy with the tourney bracket and writing stuff down? And did I play you in the 2nd round of loser's bracket? Yes, I was the Vanessa player.

 

Just wanted to give a shout out to Substandard for organizing the whole thing and going to the trouble of printing out the brackets and so on. Hopefully having the tourney will inspire a few new people to take up VF. Really nice to meet Aemaeth and his brother? as well, hope we can have another meet sometime soon /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

ps. Let's have the next tourney at Jeff's house, highlights include such memorable moments as Will trying to play and stop his wife talking to him at the same time. Yeah, RagingMist had a Bye in losers due to my shoddy method of seeding (First time doing it, so there was bound to be hick-ups).

And yeah, I was the dude doing the brackets and losing to your Vanessa in the tourney in 2nd round losers ;p

 

Well done to all and thanks to everyone, this was definitely a successful tourney. It was great to have met everyone and experience some high level play .
