1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

I noticed a lot of new faces posting on the boards. So I wanted to say Welcome to the Virtua Fighter Community.

Things to do while your here:
#1 go to the Match Making forum and find your Local Scene. If you can't find it then create one.
#2 Go to the Dojo forum to find some info on your favorite fighters. Do not be intimidated by asking questions. We ALL started that way.
#3 Use the Search function to find what your looking for.
    #4 Don't annoy others

The VF Community as a whole are a great group of people.

Online play is a great feature, but nothing will ever take away from the Local Gatherings that we have had. Do not be afraid to meet someone in person. You can find some great competition and perhaps some friends in the process.

Do not give up on the game. If you play someone that has been into the scene for a while their is a good chance you will get your ass beat over and over again. Learn from that experience and you will get better from it. Ask Unsafe_Dan /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Ok thats it for now. Perhaps some regulars can add to this.

I feel that road tripping and getting street cred for the game is important. The online play for the 360 is a great addition, but nothing beats going on a trip and playing people live. Trying to build a community of gamers in your local area or state is difficult but don't give up. Try to start gatheings before you try to start tournaments. Through my experiences I have traveled to California and Colorado and had great gaming experiences. I have also played a few people locally. All in all I have had alot of fun with the vfdc community and have noticed my vf skills improve!!!
