MoAT - July 11,12,13 2003 - Toronto

I had held off announcing this, but with Evo popping up on consoles I thought now would be appropriate.

So, dust off the controllers and get training. MoAT is back!

The date was chosen after much discussion with various parties on #vfhome. The format is also undecided. It's definitely going to be Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution. More than likely it will be Version B on the PS2 but we'll make a more solid confirmation of this soon enough.
There are hopes of good prizes - nothing confirmed but it's in the works.

Best of all - there's been interest from a lot of people in talks over the last month or so. We're hoping to have a good turnout from all over and, of course, it's going to be an absolute blast.

The countdown begins: 115 days til MoAT. Book ahead and we hope to see everyone there!

Now, I have 115 days to get my all of my skills up to scratch /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I have just one question (for now): What does 'MoAT' stand for /versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif?

 

MoaT = Mother of all Tournaments

Its a canadian tradition. Much like vinegar on fries.

Im really considering coming to this. Just depends on finances and the scheduling of some of the street fighter tournies. Well hope to bash your canadian faces come this summer

 

Toronto hasnt partied until theve partied with JEDI. Ive been waiting to go to a MoAT ever since I first read about them back in VF2 days. MoAT is the hottness and I hope lots of people go. Llanfair any clue if you doing beeffest along side of it?

Sounds like fun! I remember reading about the MoATs on alt.games.vf or whatever it was.... I'm probably going to go, and Namflow too, if he's still in the country.
