My A.I. is not improving...

I always show him replays and tell him what to do and when I try out the stuff he learned in Arcade mode he doesnt seem to do it in Kumite mode...

Any help is appreciated

well i dont know alot about Ai's all i have is a 9th dan. but what i noticed was that he didnt really learn from arcade.. so i just trained him alot showed him alot of moves and combos.. and when i thought he was ready. i unleased his mighty power... although he lost the first mach.. he soon kicked alot of arse.. and when he fights against other "same char" comp controlled Ai he learns alot... ive never really tried replay. cuz he does fine and he didnt seam to learn from it.... as i said i dont know much. but thats what i did /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

 

Which character are you using I'm kinda having the same problem with my Akira ai.

 

The only tip I could give would be to perfect some combos and use them repeatedly in the sparring option.The thing is if you keep only doing half the combo ( I have trouble doing the last part of Akira's Dragon Lance combo) your ai will only learn and use that half of the combo.

 

I'm using Lion.

well i tried lion aswell. and he kinda sucked. couldnt get him to win.. so i switched to Jacky.. and he owns /versus/images/icons/smile.gif seems that lion may be harder to train than most imo but he might rock if we had a little patiens /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

 

Character such as Jacky and Pai really take off if you just wnat to see victory.

However, I enjoy the style of the fighting more than anything. Vanessa for example, really take a long long time to see any result, but when she is in form, its much more satfrying than leaving jacky ovenight just to see him gaining a better title.

With my experience in training AI's, I now in avg. see good results at around the 60th fight.
