1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Hi everyone. Im sadly one of teh few British VF players in existance it seems (if anyone here wants to rove me wrong on that front please do).

Im real glad to have found a vf forum like tekken zaibatsu. This game deserves way more attention than it gets over here in the uk.

Anyway I should get back on point. I have recently jumped back into vf4 evo because a few of the guys at my old place of work have done the same. Couldnt stand having no one to fight against before, but that isnt a problem anymore. I am wondering who to pick up. It is in my nature to try a couple of people out and im wondering who to go with. Im sure there are threads that have comvered this before but I could find any. Its probably worth saying that Jacky and Leon are out because one of the guys at work uses them and I hate them now lol.

Once again hello everyone. I look forward to many arguments about Akira's godliness

Akira is great but frustrating because the command inputs are very difficult if you're new to VF.

Pai, Brad, Shun, and Vanessa are all good characters to test out. It really depends on what you value in a character.

Welcome to the boards, a few British players exist but sadly hardly any. I am from Bath (near Bristol) where are you?

Im located in Cheltenham in the Midlands (least I think it the midlands lol). We are very near the city of Gloucester. I know a few guys I used to work with who are getting in VF as well. One of them has been a huge fan for years and is getting back into evo to be prepared for vf5. As far as I know vf5 is a ps3 release title now and im first in the queue ;). With any luck, once vf5 is released it will get more exposure over here and the number of players will go up.

Im still very green at the game myself. Still having trouble deciding who to play, but if any of the other UK players want to organise something and get together that would be amazing!!!

I went to uni in Cheltenham a couple of years ago, would have been good to have someone to play back then. Im sure when vf5 comes out on ps3 there will be a London gathering, how big I'm not sure, but Ill be there for sure.

Hi guys, fellow Brit and newcomer to the site. Got this a few days ago and loving it as much as I did when I got to play it (and got completely raped in Japan!)
