That's the word around the campfire anyways. Hopefully a little more balanced come this time around *caugh* Steve *caugh*

Being tested here and there Steve d/f+2 doesn't launch anymore blah blah.

    Peace Out!

Probably just for the arcades. I doubt they'll release it on PS2 though, unless Namco will pull an Tekken: Evo or something like that.

Nina's Uf+1 and Bryan's Wall 1,2,1 df+3 should be removed/toned down as well (Not to mention almost everything else for those two as well!). Actually, they should remove Feng's ss+4 sweep as well.

Wouldn't it be funny if the UK version was the updated one. Man I wanted to use Steve's d/f+2, hard enough to launch ppl to begin with. Steve's power I think makes up for him not being able to kick, not including the get up kicks.

OH yea, anyone here know how to do Steve's flying punch? I saw it done on T5 on a match video but it wasn't on the move list for T4 yet I managed to pull it off somehow in T4 the other night.

I think the move is uf+2. I don't use Steve that much, but if memory serves, it goes over low attack's really well and cover's a lot of ground.

I doubt the PAL release will be different from the import versions (I know they are slightly different as well), but I don't think any moves will be patched.

You have to be running to do his dashing punch. Yeah I play steve, and he is way too over powering. U/F 2 is a hopping upper, but I only really connect when close, better just to low parry and D/F 2 is safer. I love to low parry, damn Aoi ruined me. LOL /versus/images/graemlins/lol.gif

you don't have to be running to do the jumping punch, i think though u have to be about 3-4 body lengths away-
    command is like akira's SDE.

yet I get another version of how to do this impossible move. It's worst then Akira's knee, lol.

you can do running punch at any range, even at range 0, input is f,N,f~f+2.

    Easier than Akira's knee IMO.

According to magicbox, Namco announced T5.1 will be released in arcades later this year, the upgrade will include new moves, combos, revised controls, and possibly new arenas and characters. It's also written that Sega has announced they will host a private show on July 7 - 14, in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka. The show is opened for dealers, all current and upcoming arcade titles will be exhibited.

Being able to block during techroll? Thats a good thing right? It seems like Nina and Steve have been changed alot. Dont know why they changed up Anna though? But no more juggles for steve, thats ok though since he still has a really good ground game.
