New to VF5 Jacky, some iaigeri questions.

I've recently acquired a PS3 and VF5 and will be picking up the xbox360 release as well; so these questions are aimed at both versions.

I noticed via the command training that Jacky's got the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif basic iaigeri; but while screwing around I noticed his sidekick out of the step shuffle /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif or whatever it is (at work, can't verify) can be similarly /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif cancelled while its in the active phase of its animation, resulting in an iaigeri. Am I making this up, or is this something already well-known about VF5 Jacky?

Does he have other moves that can be 'iaigeri'ed?
Does iaigeri have a significant application in VF5, ie combos, etc; or is it just there to satisy people who remember it from the older games?

The shuffle step /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif iaigeri was there in VF4 as well.

To my knowledge there are no more then those two

the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif iaigeri is prominent in many of Jacky's most damaging combos.

Jeneric's correct, there are no other such attacks that can be iaigeri'd.

I'm not sure if the in-game command list/training has this, but the VFDC VF5 Jacky Command List documents the Step-in Flash Sword under the Slide Shuffle Attacks section.

Thanks guys. Total noob question that I could have found on the jacky command list, but I didn't know what to look for.

No worries! I suppose it's not exactly obvious unless you go through the command list and notice the Note which reads:

    "Press /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif during Hit Detection"

How do players get the 6_K ! G out cleanly without having to move forward?

You can hold /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif while you input the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif and then release /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif when you hit whatever attack button.

For example with Akira's SDE (super dashing elbow) you can hold /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif while you input the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif and then release /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif and hit /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. The move will come out without you moving forward or jittering around. It makes the move more of a surprise cause you are standing totally still before it comes out instead of jittering around which may indicate to the opponent that you are about to get a move out.
