Ok, I'm new to VF right, so I figure, lemme check the forums for an NC thread to find some local come. And I couldn't find one . . .

does this mean that there are no VF players in NC, cuz if not then there's not much point to me playing and I might as well go back to playing Tekken (even though I really don't care to atm). Or maybe . . . just maybe there are some hardcore vf players in the area that are just waiting for some fresh air. If so, post up and lets get some games going.

Anyway yo I'm gonna be in NC the weekend of July the 7th. That saturday is my birthday. So I definately will be coming to that bi-weekly. I go back to the A after that weekend but I'm coming back on the 14th for my friends Wedding in Fayetteville and then I'm gonna take some of this massive amount of Vacation time I got accured up and i'm taking the whole week of the 16th off and possiblye the monday after that. My dads birthday is the 16th after all. So I'm gonna be transporting myself all around NC so we can see what's up

Hey, I just recently moved to the NC (Charlotte) From DC and while I was always too busy there once I found out about vf.com to attend a meet (With graduation and such) I'm down if there is going to be a NC/Carolinas Meet or something...

I'm thinking of trying to run a tournament 12/28 at Lucky's Card Shop in Greensboro. Yeah, I'm a scrub, and I suck, but they hold tournies there, it's a good place, and I want to see if people are actually interested. Hope you like NGBC as well- they play that at a HIGH level there as well. It would be 12/28, on whenever the Triad decides the next one is (they're looking at 12/28)

If I did run it, I'd need someone to bring a stick, or two sticks. It would be run early like 1pm or so, no lateness.
There is a $5 door free to get in that goes to the card shop for hosting. (good for all day, you'll be able to play various games against people till 10pm+ or so)

I'm a beginner as well, but i'd like to participate.

 

Just let me run things by the Triad. (the NGBC group that largely runs these things) They said when they get date official, I can start announcing and hyping. It's mostly a 2d event, though they often run Tekken DR. NGBC 3s and GG are the big games there though.

 

I would maybe be down to travel to Greensboro for the tourney...as long as my suckage wouldn't prevent me from playing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif hehe

 

got my xobox 360 and vf 5 the other day have to say d-pad is crappy but im gettin used to it now, im ranked # 2 on live for jeffery's time attack check out the replay i live in charlotte but i go to school in rocky mount

 

Well, got confirmation of a 2nd stick being avaliable (that said, if you go to this, bring your own stick)

Tomorrow at the Lucky's tourney in Greensboro, I'll have a 360 up for some VF5 casuals. I don't plan to have a tourney, as quite simply- VTYME will get the better players, and it's too early. The next Lucky's gathering I will host one, and I will this time if there is interest.

 

hey could u open this to just the Carolinas?? i know there's rarely any NC players as well as SC players and i know of me and another in SC that would be interested in local tournies..let me know, thanks.

 

BTW where are you in SC? The 11/17 casuals got bumped, but I'll be sure to have something for the next one- I've already talked to Roski. He just asked me to wait for Lucky to approve it, but it should be 12/28.
