Eat your heart out SCAMCO! NXE FTW! The party invite feature is pure awesome! Now setting up online tournaments or just BS'ing and having matches with a group of friends is alot EASIER then ever. As the BadSeed puts its "This just save VF Online" And Denkai's Avatar blond wig said "Best experience I had since meeting Raptor Jesus" Cozby said " Wow... I hope my first born is like the NXE" And as Faceless puts it " This is SO EPIC, I forgot I had no FACE! Just WOW!"

You see that people, those are happy VFer's right there. Let's get this popping! Sooooo, anyone else digging the update?

Can somebody explain to me how exactly to use this.

Sure, first, this feature is only available to GOLD members. Second, just go through you friendlist(On the new Dashboard)click on the avatar you want to invite, from there you'll see the usual options, message, compare games, private chat and PARTY INVITE. Click that, and there you go, you started your party! To invite more, just go through you friendlist, and when you highlight their avatar(Or name through the guide button) And you'll be given the option to Invite them by pressing a single button("Y" I think)

You could also do it by pressing the guide button, and going left on the mini blade menu, you see a tab there saying "Party " I believe. Remember people could join your party if you have room. I think you could put it on private, need to check.

If this allows us to have a set number of people play each other over and over like in DOA or SC4. That would make VF online that much better.

I got no idea how this will work for VF, i'm guessing everyone can just chat and that's about it...

Yes, someone please elaborate on this.

How does the game interact with the Party feature?

How is diferent having your 8 people group in a party that just knowing that your pals are online and doing invitations?

While your in a "Party" Your still able to play ANY game or watch any movie while talking to your "Party". So, lets say I have a full party(Eight)Everyone is playing VF. And the BadSeed For Example has a Full party as well, and everyone in his party is playing VF has well. I could hit him up via private chat and tell him if he wants to run a 16 man tourny.

We both make random seeding, My party is going to duke it out until theres a winner in my party. I tell the BadSeed's via Private Chat, Denkai won. Denkai, fights the Winner from the BadSeed party(Plauge)Invites are sent.

Example, two, While Chief Flash(In my party)is Fighting Konjou Akira(In my party)for Example, I could be in Dojo mode warming up while talking to others in my party, listen to music, or Play Chess Master LIVE with Tony Familia(In my party)Until my turn is up. Is basically a upgraded Private Chat. If anyone IS still confuse and don't understand, let me know. I'll could personally show you via LIVE as well, to get a better understanding.

No, this system is the bootleg version. You still have to send invites, but is fun having 8 of your buddies there and people could alternate. This process is not that hard to do. With 8 people in your room expect to hear alot button clacking, lol. Arcade style.

but aren't konjou and i listening to you guys talk while we duke it out???? that would be quite annoying...

how much faster are the load times when installed on the HD?

sounds kinda useful I'd be up for trying it out, as for the whole talking thing would it be possible to turn headset off during matches but it is kinda lame that you cant talk with your opponent.

I'm up for it if anyone wants to invite. I'm sure we can find a way to implement the system so it works.

installed mine, the loading times are a bit faster (couldnt really tell tbh), the game feels smoother as well. Also the console is dead quiet.

Yeah, so the ONLY added functionality is the possibility to chat while outside the actual game.. Figures. Too bad I cant use voice nor hear it so this is a pass for me.

I tried to test this with B_Feck, and if I had a player session open, there was option "invite party to game" in the party options, but I dont know what happens if theres more than 2 players in the party and I do that.

If you get people in your parties can you test please.

Once you press the guide button, go to the party menu, you could easily switch to private chat(In the Party Options). Because everyone's Gamertag is right in front of you, Starting a private chat session is easy. And once both you are done, you press left in the party chat options to join the party again, and right for Private Chat. Like I said before, everyone could be in Dojo BS'ing waiting there turn until both you finish. Is really simple. I tried it earlier with a few heads, and it went smoothly.

I see I got you confuse. The purpose of this is to gather your best buds in a room(Is not a actual room in the game)then going through your friendlist constantly and having marathon matches. This gives it a Arcade rotation. A headset will make things easier, but your party members could text you when is your turn, or invites.

It seems cool to me. I was just in a room with Tricky, Kidvid, and ActionKungfu. I doubt they realized I was in there, cuz I didn't really say much, but I guess sometimes it's cool to chat while you're just casually playing besides the whole tourney aspect. That way if we were all in a room, everyone could let each other know how incredibly sucky I am and what to watch out for when playing me....and vice versa. Although that other guy sining chocolate rain was...different. Just my two cents.

HAHA Chocolate rain was hilarious! I saw you come and go in the little notification thing. I wish there was a way I could tell who was talking all the time because unless I know the voice like whoa it was hard to tell which one of ya'll was which.

Yeah that's true, but from what I was hearing, I could tell you and kidvid were doing some serious fake outs on each other. I do like that aspect. Made me want to get some good games in too.

Haha, thanks man! I've been dancing since I was little. Trying to get somewhere with it. In the meantime, I do a lot of battles trying to keep my skills up, but it's hard when you live in Kentucky...not that many good dancers here.

You know, you could actually have multiple people in private voice chat at once and do the exact same thing on the old version of Xbox Live, but no one ever did it. I even told people they could, and they acted totally uninterested...
