NYC VF Thread (21 & over, must have I.D.)

I want created this thread for the mature vfers around nyc because I had enough of ten year olds on the other nyc threads. Since I don't belong to that team, I not posting in that thread.

Here, you can just post about the day and time you will show up at CTF or whatever arcades or place you choose and dare the vf players, clubs or teams of nyc here to meet with you. You can also post that you form a team in nyc and wish to be acknowledged. Sharing info and strategies is fine too. Please respect these guidelines.

If you must trash talk, go to the other threads. This thread is for fun 'n easy going meetings and serious competition, not for angry words and insults. Please reserve the NYC 17 and under thread for up and coming newblood of nyc. (if you are between 18 and 20 you can post in both threads /versus/images/icons/smile.gif )

 

PS: Rivalry is a not bad thing, but it should separated from the thread that post meeting arrangements. I hope people of nyc will only have to look at this one thread for some fun and the others for some laughs. Nycat you can post about you Gothem club meeting here if you want.

I'll head toward CTF today about 5:30pm along with KFS. Anyone is welcome. I hope to see Adnan, Andy, Getto, Omaha, SilEPai, and others. Well, I'm easy prey, but not the others. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

Yesterday was fun, so today I'll go back to CTF. Hopefully, once more on Friday. 5-7pm if anyone interested.

NinjaSan, yes NYG3 was fun. I have only played against in Iron Man right? You're a Wolf and Vanessa player right? I only played a little bit of everyone. There were a few I didn't play against, like Blonde1, Jedifei, and Jerky.

I'd like to have more matches with you the next time I see you.

Akira_Zero, have your pad skill and Akira improved from NYG3? If it is, then that's incredible because last time your executin with a pad was excellent. As for PA, I need a ride from you if that's possible. Let me know which weedend it is now. Just like KungFuSmurf, I need to know my schedule first.

 

Your Akira was nice as well, HammerHead. I don't think you missed a single DLC against me. I got me a joystick now and my Akira's much better due to it. Anyway, I'll drive you and Kungfusmurf. If you can, can u make it to my house by bus? I have a link that shows different bus routes to my house from NYC. I gave it to Kungfu. Hopefully both of your schedules work out to get as many people as possible.

*I forgot to put this in before. The gathering is going to happen on the weekend of Jan 31 - Feb 2.

Akira_zero, I'm going to ctf this friday. Hope to see you there. I think less people will show in the arcade scene once the game is on ps2, which it will be soon

UltimateWolf6683, people usually don't show up to ctf until 5pm. Last friday was super crowed after 6. I doubt this friday will have too many people, but we'll see.

Where you there yesterday UltimateWolf6683? I was there at around 9 pm. I saw HammerHead, Omaha Jeffry, Kungfusmurf and a bunch of other people. The competition was really good. I still have to get used to the sticks though.

I hope to see you this Saturday for VF Breakfast Club meeting. Yes, I've been highly focued on family and work. I've also transformed myself since our last VF4EVO match. I've shed 60 pounds and have new <font color="ccffff"> RayBan Men in Black</font> eyeglasses. I'm now lighter than when VF3tb was introduced in NYC.
Additionally, my daughter is expecting another baby at end of summer and she and her husband are moving to bigger house soon. Wifey and I have spent coutless hours with family stuff the past several months. I've also added a few new pages to my work site: www.WallStJobBoard.com and other sundry stuff has kept me away from arcade. <font color="ffffff"> PS2 version of VF4EVO is a good practice medium but arcade is where I will always go to test against human competition.</font> <font color="ffffcc"> I will message on Saturday AM with respect to arrival time. I wasn't there after 9 but i will be there this thursday till about 630, and i will be there on friday after 4. cya guys there.

P.S.can anybody suggest a good joystick for vf4 i need to get better with joysticks.

Since CTF's VF4evo has Japanese arcade style joysticks, so... for adjusting and practicing at home, this HORI's "VF4evo Joystick"

seems the best choice. This is the OFFICIAL joystick, supervised by SEGA and SEGA-AM2. This new joystick will be at stores in Japan on 03/13/03, along with VF4evo for PS2's release.

Fortunately for us - NY's VF lovers, some US game stores will import this joystick. One shop I mentioned before, "USER'S SIDE"(Tel: 212-696-4322)
