OHN6 VF5 Results

The 6th OzHadou Nationals (OHN6) took place this past weekend, 29th-30th Sept, 2007. The OzHadou Nationals are Australia's largest fighting game tournament, held annually in Sydney. Organised by the OzHadou team and the Australian fighting game community, OHN is the largest gathering of casual and hardcore fighting game players in the country.

It was a nice little tournament with a couple of exciting moments and close last-round finishes.

Thanks to Tom for coming all the way down from QLD, and great to finally meet you. Your excellent in the first round of our first match had me worried there! Hope you keep up the VFing up north!

DrunkenCat, great catching up with you again. You definitely need to abuse Shun's new stuff in VF5, especially ver.B! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Will let you know if we get any sessions going.

Vargus, nice seeing you play VF5 in a competitive setting. Similarly, will definitely try to tee up a session when our schedules allow.

Liger 7, Desiree and Minh, sorry we didn't get much chance to play more. I hope you at least enjoyed the tournament experience.

For those in the 2D Fighting Game community, you may be interested to know that Justin Wong made the trip down here for this event. He placed 1st in Alpha2, ST, CvS2, MvC2, 3S, T5R and 2nd in TTT. We tried to get him to enter VF5 just so he'd not win a tournament, but he stubbornly refused! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
