I don't really know where to post this so I'm just going to write this here and hope that it's useful... I found out recently that if you set for versus stage option to "select" you can pick which stage you wish to fight in and like selecting a characters second costume, if you press and hold start then select the stage you will fight in the Virtua Fighter 4 verion of the stage. Mostly the stages are the same but are just set in different weather or time in the day, but a few of the stages change in size and a few walls are different. These stages are the same as the stages that you fight in in Event Square in quest mode.

I don't know if this has been posted but I thought that the people should know.

I realized that there are some differences between the Evo versions of the old stages and their original counterparts; namely Wolf and Lion's stages. Wolf's stage doesn't have a big crowd surrounding the arena and in Lion's stage the snow is no longer falling from the sky.

There are no leaves on Kage's old stage.

I recently noticed that the Palace stage is the only stage that doesn't have its VF4 counterpart. Unless I missed it somehow. /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

It's the same stage... and palace wasn't selectable in original VF4 (but it did appear in kumite).

Palace sucks.. why didn't they remove it? It has never been chosen in a tournament, and in vs. matches it is always avoided /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

Palace stage is a BONUS PS2 stage. I think that they made it just for show off to show that PS2 is capable of rendering some cool water effects. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif
