Online ranking battle: Master --> Warrior

The time is drawing near for Special Title ranking battles. Currently Denkai(BLACK BAUER CTU gametag - I think that's how he spells it) and myself are the only 10th Dan's on LIVE. Like myself I am sure he is just a few matches away from Master Rank. I am making this thread in hopes people will be honest about making it to Warrior or any other special title rank. For those who don't know, when going from Master to Warrior you can not loose any matches until you rank to Warrior. If you do you will demote back to 10th Dan. If your fighting a 10th Dan no matter how close you are to ranking, if you lose to him you will swap ranks with him. If your lucky to rechallenge that person and win then you will swap back to your Master Rank. I am sure there will be a lot of plug pullers, so I will be keeping a pen and pad near me to write down the names of players who pull on me and then post their names here. Anyone who pulls on me will then get a complaint from me so that when I search it will reduce my chances of ever playing that person again. So, please lets try and keep the rankin system honest and fun. If people come across any pullers please post their gamertags here so they can be avoided for their dishonesty. Cheers!

im still 8th dan. seems to take forever to find a match nowadays. either that or peepo are just avoiding me /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

the only one i see is J SHARPE, but still a rarity.

 

The top of the mountain is narrow at the moment.. I think J sharp Onet was already 10th dan but he demoted back to 9.. Maybe we need to give it some time to get more people high up, unless you two duke it out on your own. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif I think Jeneric is also 9th dan and there may be some others that I dont remember.

Im 7th dan atm.. And I will not pull plugs after I have clicked ready at the menu. (only possible excuse I have is to avoid being challenged by someone who I know has horrible lag..)

 

Yea J Sharp was first 10th Dan. I was the lucky dog, who ranked him down to 9th Dan. I almost sent him to 8th, but I choked. LOL No actually he just stepped up his game, so hats off to him and congrats to him for bein the first. Congrats to Denkai for being the second. Well me and Denkai most likely won't duke it out since, we kind of hate the way our matches turn out.

Yea I agree with you about maybe pulling before a match starts, because I have done that like 2 times already. It's really annoying to host matches and someone joins and they know the connection with them doesn't work, but they come in any way. I am more concerned with the peopl who take it to 3-5 rounds and realize... OH SNAP! IM GONNA LOSE! then they pull to avoid bein demoted. Those are names I want in this thread. I know this thread came a little early, but I figure I put it out there now, because people are climbing the high rank ladder, so it's just a matter of time before the first Master o Warrior Rank is born. And yea your right Jeneric is 9th dan and climbing nicely and their are also a few other 9th dans to, so Master Rank is definitely not that far off.

If rank means that much to you, you two should fight it out to see who will reach Master rank first.

We can make an event out of it. I'd even capture it at either yours or Denkai's crib. I'm sure the online VF community would love to see it. {Is this how Don King started? heh heh}

 

I'm in the Kyu ranks at the moment, haven't played many ranked matches.

I beat a seventh dan last night 3 - 0 though.

I played a guy called Black- something or other last night.

He was in the dan ranks, I couldn't say where, but I won 3-1

He should have had another round but a nicely timed giant swing from me sent him over the low wall.

ok luckily only needed 2 wins /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif konjou Akira Master rank! Since I only need 1 loss which will probably come before the days end and Denkai wants a rematch. I think I'll run for a few hours and savor my achievement before giving him that rematch. LOL
