Out of all the characters which one do you think has a possible chance at winning the Virtua fighter 5 Tournament? and why?

 

Akira, he's overdue.

 

Akira won the 2nd tournament according to canon.

Placings:

VF1 = Lau
VF2 = Akira
VF3 = Kage
VF4 = No official winner (Dural interrupts the finals between Kage and Shun. Kage fights and defeats Dural)

 

In that case Wolf should win.

 

thx shag, before three months ago. i hadn't played virtua fighter since the dreamcast. i had no idea kage won. but who do u think will win vf5. or who the last stand off will be between.

lau vs pai.....

lau will be a moment away from landing the killing blow and old age/disease will cause his heart to explode making pai the winnder. But then dural will jump in and kill pai, and then lei will jump in and dance around do crazy crap until everyone is dead.

 

They're all gona enter in a round robin and tie. Somehow.

 

If Lau won the first tourney then that means Akira had to defeat Lau in the second tourney in order to become the winner, does it not? Since Lau won the 1st one that would have made him the then current champ in VF2 no? So, then Akira beats Lau in VF2 right? And then Kage beats Akira in VF3, right? So, in VF4 Kage would then be the current VF champ and one would have to beat him to become the champ. So if the final match had been interupted would that not then make Kage win the tourney by default? Which would mean that Kage is still the champ, whould it not? So, whoever becomes the champ of VF5 would have to beat Kage, and I SERIOUSLY doubt that Wolf, or any wrestler for that matter, has what it takes to beat a ninja. If anyone is going to beat Kage it's going to be one of the tougher dudes, like Akira, Lau or Lei-Fei.

OR.....

Reading your post makes me believe Kage could never lose just because he's a ninja. Then how come he lost twice?

Also, I don't know how Sega thinks about VF's tournament format, but you needn't beat the current champ to become the new champ in many fighting tournaments. This 'I'm the best now you have to beat me to prove you're better' jig is almost unique to American leagues.

I don't think Eileen is that much of an outsider for the victory, it'd be simple fanservice. I'd say Vanessa, Jeffry and Goh have the least chance of ever winning a tourney.


I'd give VF5 to Lion. If only out of respect for Fuudo and Chibita.

If not him, then one of the Bryants, they deserve one after all these years.

 

In the last VF Goh kills everyone and J6 rules the world (Because this organisation cannot be stopped by people who use guns, just by fighters like Akira).

It'll be Kage vs. Taka in the finals. However, Taka will have a heart attack before the match and Kage will win by default.

Hey hey, the winner of every virtua fighter is chosen with a tournament. I mean a real tournament with real players. That's how until now they decided who won. In the 4th, probably they didn't want end the story (kage won) too quickly so they invented the dural disturb. But, every finalist is chosen with a tournament, so every guess it's pointless imo, until we have the final VF5FS Tournament.

 

Did'nt Shun win 3? Who wins 5? Vanessa. She's on a mission. Jacky makes it to the semi-finals then realized he paid vanessa a boatload of money and decides to forfeit his spot to her making her the winner. She moves on a Dural bows down because she know her Metal skin is no match for the Ebony Glow of Vanessa muscular tone.
