    1. Meaties after throws [6][4][P][+][G] and [2_][6][P][+][G].
    • These are the only throws that you can do a meaty attacks. [3][K] is the best choice after the [6][4][P][+][G] and [6][P] is the best after [2_][6][P][+][G].

    2. Meaties after [1][K][+][G].
    • Here you can go with a) [4][6][K][+][G], b)[3][K] and c) [6][K][+][G], for me the [4][6][K][+][G] is the best choice, that is probably the best oki/meaty generally.

    3. Meaties after [4][K][+][G].
    • Go with a) [4][6][K][+][G]. b) [4][P] ,if [4][P] connect in right timing it leaves you at +10. c) [3][K] as you can see according to the video in right timing leaves you at +12 and opponent to ST position with free [P][K] or [P][P][4][P] ,that one is against certain characters.

    4. Meaties after [9][K][K], enders [P][P][K][K],[P][P][4][P][K] and [3][K][P][P].
    • In ending [P][P][K][K] and [P][P][4][P][K] the [4][P] in right timing leaves you at +10. [2_][3][P][+][K] >[6_][P]>[4][6][K][+][G] >[3][K][P][P] its just an example to show that in that combo you can do [4][P] as a meaty instead to previous example ([6][6][K][P]>[6_][P]>[3][K][P][P]) that you cant and in right timing leaves you at +10. Generally i believe [4][6][K][+][G] is the most efficient move as a meaty/oki.

    5. Meaties after [1][K][K] , enders [4][6][K][K],[6][P][+][K][P],WS[P][+][K][P] and [3][K][+][G]>[3][P][P][6][P]>[P][K] .
    • In [1][K][K] , you can also do [3][K] and in right timing leaves you at +11 or +12 and opponent to the ST situation with opportunity for free [P][K] or [P][P][4][P] ( i forgot to put it in the video :p ), in [4][6][K][K] do immediately [4][6][K][+][G]. In [6][P][+][K][P] do a little dash ([6][6][G]) and then [4][6][K][+][G] to connect in right timing. In [3][K][+][G]>[3][P][P][6][P]>[P][K] do immediately [4][6][K][+][G] and last,[3][K] in right timing leaves you at +11 and +12 and opponent to ST position with opportunity for free [P][K] or [P][P][4][P] ( that combo works against lightweights and middleweights).

    6. Meaties after [3][P][+][K] CH KND.
    • a) [3][K] b)[4][6][K][+][G] and c) [4][P].

    7.Meaties after ender [6][K][P][4][K].
    • a) in first example,according to the video after [4][P] do [6][P] immediately. b)In second example, do big forward dash for [3][K][+][G] and then do immediately [3][K]. c)In third example, do a big forward dash for [3][P]full charge [K]( awesome setup,if opponent tech rolled, even if he tries to block the full charge connect and staggering him, only way to avoid it? just dont tech roll,lol - against middleweights or heavymiddle weights do the video example [1][P]>[6_][P]>[6][K][P][4][K] big forward dash [3][P]fullcharge[K], against lightweights do [2_][3][P][+][K] >[6_][P] >[4][6][K][+][G] >[6][K][P][4][K]>big forward dash [3][P]fullcharge[K]) . d) In fourth example,after combo like [2_][3][P][+][K] > [6_][P] > [4][6][K][+][G] > [6][K][P][4][K] > [6][6][P][+][K][4] do immediately bokutai [P] and its always guaranteed as a meaty. The last examples with the [6][6][K][+][G] are kinda hard to execute, you have to do little croush dash before execute it and as you can see in the video BT[P][+][K], BT[K] and BT [2][P][+][K]hit throw[P][+][G] can be used as a meaties.

    What is the timing to hit someone with say, 3K sideturned after they tech roll?

    Depends in situations.The timing is the same almost to all examples but to get 3K sideturned depends of the way the opponent fall to the ground. For example when they fall supinely with their face towards to your feet( like after 2KK or after 4K+G,look the 3rd video in 0:22 ) or when they fall to the ground with their face down and their feet are towards to your feet( see the video in pai combo thread at page 6- VF5FS Pai specific meaties against jacky).

    Meaty is when your opponent get a mid or low hit after they try to evade after they tech rolled. If you timing it correctly your opponent cant evade it. Go to dojo, set the cpu to counter hit and tech roll ( fall recovery- side roll / back for example) . If you connect it in right timing you get a NH.
    Sorry for my english. i dont know it its clear due to my english. if you have a question ask me again!!!

    Oh man. Okay, thanks for the explanation. I understand this now but I think this is beyond my level at the moment. I'm still working on just getting good, high damage combos working well with my Pai :( . Once those are in place I can worry about this more specialised stuff...

    New stuffs that i found and are interesting. i havent test it against all chars though.
    Combos like where the ender is [6][K][P][4][K], for example [1][P] > [6_][P] > [6][K][P][4][K]> dash [4][K][+][G] (*sober combo). So after [6][K][P][4][K]do forward dash or crouch dash and then [4][K][+][G] if its connect when the opponent tech rolled, do immediately low throw. You dont need to worry about the timing to catch him, just after the [4][K][+][G] do immediately [1],[2],[3],[3][3][P][+][G], if he tries to evade, low throw its always guaranteed ( almost against all, depends of hitbox against certain chars).

    Also hakkeshou [P] or [K] can connect as meaties as well. Combos like [3][K][+][G] > [6][K][+][G] > [6_][P] > [6][P][+][K][9]or [3][P][+][K][+][G] as ender ,if the opponent tech rolled after it you can catch him by hakkeshou [P] as a meaty attack or like the example in this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwswZObtF1o. Also,hakkeshou [K] its great as a meaty as well in some specific situations, look the example in this video at 00:16 (its jacky specific though :) )www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsJ0XHthYq4

    Btw when you try to do that hakkeshou setup when the opponent doesnt tech roll immediately hakkeshou [K] can be used as a tool to crush wake up kicks, its kinda risky but its possible if you do it in the right timing! I dont recommend it tbh but its good to know what is possible or not!!

    Some thers meaties:

    [5][9][K][K] KND
    --> [6][6][P][+][K]
    It's a safe low attack, can go into bokutai. Works also after [6][4][P][+][G] throw.
    --> [6][6],[3][P]

    [5][3][P][+][K] CH -->[6][6][P][+][K]

    [5][4][6][K][K]
    --> OM [P][+][K] +1 on block
    --> OM [6][6][P]
    --> OM [4][6][K]
    --> [6][6][2][K][+][G]

    [5][4][6][P][+][K]>[9][K][K]
    --> [4][6][P][+][K]
    If the second [4][6][P][+][K] hits, dash and WS [K] because [9][K][K] won't reach.
    --> [4][6][K]
    Play with the delay of [4][6][K][K]

    [5][4][6][K][+][G]>[9][K][K]
    --> [6][6][P]
    Good for pushing back the ennemy to the wall or the edge of the ring.
    -->[P][+][K]
    -->[4][6][K][K]

    If you end a combo with WS [K] (after [6][K][P][4][K] for example), [3][P][+][K] is also meaty.
