So, I lost my phone tonight and although I will check again in the morning to see if it somehow fell apart in my car, it is time for an upgrade. I am currently using the original motorola droid and looking to stay within the google ecosystem. Any suggestions on phones? The phone would do a lot of time as a camera/camcorder as well as car radio.

If you go Galaxy Nexus make you get the extended battery. Don't be surprised that after the first few days the battery will die fast.

After that the battery life has been fine.

Also recommend the free version of the Volume+ app because the sound is very low out of the box +2 or 3 should help that.

Cool. I am on big red as well (VZ). Right now it is between the Nexus and the HTC Resound. The big thing holding me back from the nexus is:
Build quality...a plastic phone just doesn't sit well with me
    Speaker quality
Phone quality. I use the phone a lot at work to record instructional videos and record ourselves sparring/working out. It has to be something of a decent quality. The pictures are mediocre.
What is holding me back from the resound: stupid sense ui that is slathered all over it.

I hate all these fancy mobiles these days. People seem to forget what they are actually used for instead of how many gadgets they posses, i guess this is just part of the fun for enthusiasts.

Out of all the not so good things about the Galaxy Nexus, which are all minor btw. The new and clean Google UI ICS 4.0 makes the biggest difference of all

Ended up going with the resound. Once it will have ICE in a month or two and by then google should have worked out more of the kinks.

Oh, all HTC phones released since November have an unlocked bootloader!

Galaxy Note is another option if you prefer a bigger cell or smaller tablet. Samsung really has a good position this year, and according to the specs of S3, I can't wait to see how it reach on top.

I have a mid market phone (MyTouch 3G Slide) and it does everything. Maps/Navigation, Mail, Browser, Spotify. I'm set. I am seeing the growing desire for a better camera though which at some point I'll cave in for, but I'm a pretty minimal guy.

I have the world's best dumbphone (not a smartphone). Yay!

    Sony Aino

At the time it was the first and only Sony Ericsson made from the Japanese Sony team for the rest of the world. But all in all, it's just a glorified dumbphone that looks neat (nothing special).

Does anyone own the Sony Ericsson Arc? And the pics and hype of the upcoming Sony Nozomi look pretty damn cool.
