Pinoy VFers?

Hello guys! I was wondering if there are any VFers around here from the Philippines, or Filipinos living in other parts of the world.

Anyway, there are VF4 merchandise such as posters and wallscrolls here but, sadly, no arcade versions of the game (at least in the city where I live).

you'll find a vf4 machine in Quezon city, in the cubao area, in alimall, and sm, last i heard from my friends they have evo and vf4 ver b. both at alimall. i'm filipino too by the way, i don't live there though, any ways i heard there are vf4 machine on sta. mesa at sm centerpoint as well, if y7ou're anywhere close to these places check them out, i hear you'll find decent competition. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

There used to be a vf4 machine in G4 makati, but they took it out because few people played it.

It wasn't a lie. There was one according to some local players, it was taken out because it wasn't making money. Now the local players just try to gather at home or at PS2 rentals.

Seems 2d games were more popular last time I went.

 

The problem is the new wide screen cabinets might be too expensive for the local arcades here( ex, timezone, quantum)

And add to that the problem that most people here would rather play tekken, soul caliber or some 2d game, it seems that the arcades here might not gamble on the VF5 cabinets.

But im hoping that they will. And i'm hoping the new graphics and the new characters will attract some new players.

I'm also hoping that we'll have VF.TV here.

One of them is a Korean and his quite good at it. He was my former sensei and teaches me VF basics as well as advance.
