plasma t.v initial set up

So I just got this huge samsung plasma t.v. I am wondering if there is any initial break in stuff that I should be doing?

Play everything in FULL SCREEN the first 100hrs. Movies in FULL Mode and TV. Games are find. BTW, you should of went with a V10 Just run the slides as much as possible. Once is broken in, look at other peoples settings for reference. If you have the cash get that badboy calibrated by ISF(after 400hrs)Other than that, run the slides in Vivid mode(If Samsung models have it label that way)and your good to go.

Shinobi....I mostly have a ton of t.v shows (fringe, dexter, etc)...just run them in normal mode for a while?

 

Holy shit, the amount of information is mind boggling.

 

Zoom them in(No black bars)There's options like "Wide Zoom" to get rid off them(But you lose some picture on the sides, similar to 4:3) but if the show is already at 1:85:3 aspect ratio, normal mode is okay. but 2:39:1, Wide Zoom for the first 100hrs. You want all the phosphor's to age at the same time so you coulfd get accurate colors all over the screen, instead of just certain parts.
