What's up with Sony and Sega?

I honestly think Sega (and Sony) should have put out a Virtua Fighter 5 video trailer (at the very least) as well as a playable demo with like Lei Fei and Pai or something. Put it on the Playstation Online Store and at least market the game a little bit more before the 360 version comes out.

I mean... Midway put out a fairly high definition trailer of Gauntlet II. Now, Gauntlet II is a downloadable spinoff of the original arcade game (maybe Gauntlet II was an arcade game?). Early 1980s graphics and all.

Virtua Fighter 5 can claim critical acclaim. It can claim having some of the best graphics and presentation of any game on the system. It can even claim single player replayability with amazing custom costumes and the like. And a demo could demonstrate that there are characters that are fun for even beginners.

I just think the least that could have been done was a video trailer. And a downloadable demo would have greatly helped some of its marketing.

    Sigh... /end moment of outburst.

Wasn't there a video demo for the Jpn playstation store? Not that this makes it any better, they have the movie and can't even be bothered to put it on other stores. (Multiple accounts for me) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

The trailers were available before the game came out (with a JPN account which isn't hard to make) but sadly their was no playable demo

I think they were the ones that were showing on Japan tv so they didnt really have to go to any extra work. They wouldnt create a tv advert here in the UK. Thats just silly, they might end up selling more than 50 copies then.
